Prabhsimran Singh slams maiden IPL hundred as Punjab Kings eye vital win in IPL 2023

Prabhsimran Singh, 22, smashed his maiden IPL hundred off 61 balls against Delhi Capitals on Saturday.

Even as other batters struggled at the Kotla, Singh smashed the bowlers all over the park, hitting 10 fours and six sixes along the way. Prabhsimran scored 27 runs in his first 31 balls and then accelerated to score 76 in his next 34 deliveries and end with 103 off 65 balls.

In 2018, Singh was talked about in cricketing circles after a selection snub for the U19 team galvanised him to blast a remarkable 298 off just 301 balls against Amritsar in the semi-final of the Punjab U23 inter-district cricket tournament.
